-Light is what allows us to see as it creates depth,
mood and colours as the word photography it self means drawing with
light. Light allows us too either see the very fine details or keep hidden
the parts of the image we want to keep cover
As essentially light is what we can use to play with
the picture and manipulate it to become what we want it to be.

Exposure - how bright a scene is and how it effects our image.
Quality - how focused or diffuse light is.
Color - the color of the light in an image.
Direction - where is the light coming from?
Highlight - the brightest part of the image
Shadow - the darkest part of the image.
Contrast - The difference between the bright part of an image and the dark part of an image

LIGHT THEORY
Sir, Issac Newton held the theory that light
was made up of tiny particles. In 1678, Dutch physicist,
Christiaan huygens believed that light was made up of
waves vibrating up and down perpendicular to the direction
of the light travels, and therefore formulated a way of
visualising wave propagation.

THE SCIENCE
The science of Vision and light is this,
Visible light is a small part of a large part of
what is called the Electromagnetic Spectrum,
which contains all of the energy types that travel
through space in a wave-like manor. Every day,
light waves reflect off of objects and into our eyes,
which allows us to see the objects.

HOW LIGHT WORKS
Bright bands formed where two wave crests
overlapped and added together. The fields vibrate
at right angles to the direction of movement of the
wave and at right angles to each other. Because
light has both electric and magnetic fields, it's also
referred to as electromagnetic radiation.

WHO DISCOVERED LIGHT?
Even though light has been visible to humans for
thousands of years, it was Sir Isaac Newton who
managed to understand what light consists of.
Newton was the first person to realize that white light
consists of a mix of light rays of various colors.
